FAQS
-
How far can the 75‑640 detect and identify animals? In optimal conditions this scope can detect human‑sized targets out to roughly 3,800 m and identify hog‑sized animals at well over 1 km. Identification distances depend on environmental factors and animal size.
-
Does the 75‑640 have the same rangefinder as other Secutor models?Yes. All Secutor LRF models share a built‑in class‑1 laser rangefinder rated to 1,000 m with ±4 m accuracy. The 75‑640 pairs it with a ballistic calculator to compute holdovers for long shots.
-
What kind of batteries does it use and how long do they last? The scope uses four CR123A batteries and typically runs for more than six hours. You can also power it via the USB‑C port with an external battery pack.
-
Is the larger lens difficult to mount? The 75‑640 is heavier and longer than the 35‑mm and 50‑mm models, so you should use a sturdy mount and ensure proper eye relief. AGM includes a robust mount in the package to handle the additional weight.
-
Does it still include video recording and Wi‑Fi?Yes. Like other Sectors, the 75‑640 records video and audio to 16 GB of internal memory, offers shot‑activated recording and features a Wi‑Fi hotspot for live viewing and downloads.

Detailed Product Description:
The Secutor LRF 75‑640 is AGM’s most capable thermal scope for long‑range shooting. It uses the same 12‑µm VOx microbolometer and feature‑rich firmware as its smaller siblings but ups the ante with a 75 mm f/1.2 objective lens and 640×512 resolution. The result is a scope that can detect heat signatures nearly 3.8 kilometres away and deliver 4–32× magnification via smooth digital zoom. Inside the durable aluminium housing you’ll find an integrated class‑1 laser rangefinder, ballistic calculator, digital compass and inclinometer. Ten reticles, multiple colour palettes and image processing modes help you tailor the display for any scenario.
Video and audio are recorded internally with shot activation, and the Wi‑Fi hotspot allows live streaming to a smartphone. The scope runs on four CR123A batteries for over six hours and is sealed to IP67 standards, making it waterproof, dust‑tight and recoil‑rated for heavy calibers. Included accessories and a five‑year warranty complete the package.
