AGM Secutor LRF-C 75-640

The Secutor LRF‑C 75‑640 is AGM’s most powerful clip‑on, pairing a 640×512 VOx sensor with a 75 mm f/1.2 lens to detect targets with AGM listing detection up to ~3.8 km for a human‑sized target. It retains the integrated 1,000 m laser rangefinder and digital compass found on the 50‑mm model but stretches detection and magnification. The optical magnification remains 1×, so your day scope’s zero is preserved. Power comes from four CR123A batteries for about six hours of runtime, and 16 GB of internal memory stores video and audio recordings, with Wi‑Fi streaming available.

  • Is This the Right Thermal for You?:

Choose the 75‑640 LRF‑C if you need a clip‑on that delivers the longest detection range in the lineup. The 75 mm lens collects more thermal energy, providing better detail at distance, while the integrated rangefinder ensures accurate ranging up to 1,000 m. The trade‑offs are a heavier front‑end, a narrower 5.9° × 4.7° field of view and slightly higher cost. For most hunters, the 50‑mm LRF‑C offers a good balance; but for extreme range work, the 75‑mm version stands alone.

  • Best For:

    • Long‑range shooters seeking a clip‑on with maximum detection distance
    • Users who need an integrated laser rangefinder and high‑resolution imaging
    • Hunters willing to carry a heavier optic to achieve longer range

  • Not Ideal For:

    • Casual hunters and shooters who rarely need to see beyond ~1 mile; the 50‑mm model is lighter and less costly
    • Those who prefer a wider field of view for scanning large areas
    • Users who require a built‑in ballistic calculator

  • How This Model Compares:

The 75‑640 LRF‑C takes the 50‑640 platform and swaps in a larger 75 mm f/1.2 lens. This extends detection from ~2.6 km to ~3.8 km and increases image magnification, but narrows the field of view from 8.8° to 5.9° and adds weight. Like the smaller model, it lacks a ballistic calculator and uses CR123A batteries. All other features and controls remain the same.

Relative to the 50‑640 LRF‑C, this model offers about ~1 km of additional detection range and higher magnification at the expense of field of view and increased weight. Compared to the 50‑640 Rattler‑C, it adds an integrated rangefinder but uses disposable batteries instead of a rechargeable pack.

  • What You Actually Get in Real-World Use:

Field reports indicate that the 75‑640 LRF‑C delivers impressive long‑range performance. Users note that they can spot large animals and vehicles at distances where smaller clip‑ons struggle. The integrated rangefinder is handy for confirming distance before taking a shot. Battery life is similar to the 50‑mm model, at about six hours on fresh CR123As. The extra lens weight is noticeable but manageable when mounted properly.

  • FAQS

    • How far can the 75‑640 LRF‑C detect and range?
The device can detect a human‑sized target up to about 3,800 meters. The integrated laser rangefinder measures out to 1,000 meters with ±4 m accuracy.
    • Does it have a ballistic calculator?
No. The LRF‑C series does not include a ballistic solver. You'll need to compute holdovers manually or with an external calculator.
    • What is the field of view of the 75‑mm clip‑on?
The 75 mm f/1.2 lens provides a 5.9° × 4.7° field of view. This narrower FOV is a trade‑off for the extended range and magnification.
    • What batteries does it use and how long do they last?
It uses four CR123A batteries and typically runs for more than six hours. A USB‑C port allows you to connect an external power supply for longer sessions.
    • Is the 75‑640 durable and waterproof?
Yes. It's built on a rugged aluminium chassis, sealed to IP67 standards and shock‑rated for recoil. AGM backs the unit with a five‑year warranty.

  • Detailed Product Description:

The AGM Secutor LRF-C 75-640 is a thermal clip-on with integrated laser ranging for use ahead of a compatible daytime riflescope. A 640×512, 12 µm detector with sub-20 mK sensitivity pairs with a 75 mm f/1.2 lens. Its 5.9° × 4.7° field of view is narrower than the 50 mm model, concentrating the view on a smaller area. The clip-on has 1× optical magnification.

Distance readings appear on the 1024×768 OLED display. Video and audio recording, 16 GB storage and Wi-Fi make it possible to save and review observations without replacing your daytime optic.

Power comes from four CR123A lithium batteries, with AGM listing up to six hours of runtime. A USB-C connection supports external power, and the housing is IP67-rated. Confirm the appropriate mount and scope compatibility before purchase. Choose the 50 mm model if broader scanning coverage is more useful for your setup.
